Automotive Supply Chain Support
Automotive suppliers in the West Midlands can look forward to increasing their global competitiveness thanks to the development of eleven new Supply Chain Improvement Projects (SCIP’s) through the MAS-WM and Accelerate.
The programme is set to help over 100 firms improve their operational efficiency and is another example of how the two organisations are pooling their expertise and resources in a bid to strengthen the fortunes of the resurgent car industry.
David Wright, chief executive of MAS-WM, explained:
“We have had significant success with our sector focused supply chains and are delighted that we can now deliver similar projects direct to automotive companies in the West Midlands."

Midlands Productivity Alliance for the Automotive Supply Chain
Improving productivity throughout the manufacturing operation is a vital ingredient for any manufacturing operation in today’s dynamic global economy. What is considered efficient today is often not the case in tomorrow’s world.
